Address modernization software

Definition:

Address modernization software is software that standardizes the contact data being passed from a legacy system to a new type of technology during a data center modernization.

Address modernization is imperative for all companies that capture contact data and want to ensure that it is verified and standardized before committing it to their database. In addition to capturing accurate data, while a modernization is taking place within an organization, the data that exists in the legacy system also needs to be corrected and transferred over.

Address modernization software will verify and standardize both existing data and the new data being entered into the new system. Ensuring these data quality measures are taken is particulary important for government agencies as they capture a large amount of sensitive information.
